Itinerary:
On our motorbike tour, you will have the chance to see many of the minority villages and the beautiful landscape around Sapa. While on your trip, it is possible to stop any time if you want to take photos or just enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains and valleys. Our drivers have a lot of experience driving on the difficult mountain roads, so that you can experience Sapa in a safe way.
We will start this motorbike tour around 8:30 am at the Sapa O’Chau Cafe, where you will meet your tour guide. After a short drive we will leave Sapa Town and make our way up the mountains towards the Tram Ton Pass. On the way up you can view the village of Sin Chai below you getting smaller and smaller as the road climbs to the pass at 2047 m. We will stop at the pass for you to breathe the mountain air while viewing the mountains and forests below.
From the pass we will drive back down to the Golden Stream and the Love Waterfall. Here we will leave our motorbike at the entrance and take a short walk through the jungle, along the Golden Stream, until we reach the Love Waterfall. This walk will be about 2 km long. Our next stop will be the Silver Waterfall with its 300 meter drop. Here you will have a chance to climb the 200 steps to enjoy the best view of the waterfall and the surrounding landscape.
From the Silver Waterfall we will drive back through Sapa Town and continue on smaller roads to the villages of Matra and Ta Phin, where many people belonging to the Red Dao minority live. In Ta Phin we will have lunch at the Sapa O’Chau handicraft workshop. While your host is cooking your lunch you can learn about the local handicraft production and see how the Black Hmong make their clothes by hand.
After lunch we will continue with the handicraft workshop for another hour. Then we will be on our way to villages of Sa Seng and Hang Da. On the way, you will have many opportunities to stop and enjoy the incredible panoramic view of Muong Hoa valley. We will reach our office at around 3.30pm.
Your safety is very important to us. You can either ride on the motorbike with one of our drivers or, if you wish, ride your own motorbike.
All our drivers are experienced and have a license for driving motorbikes. For your comfort, we try to use roads that are in good shape, although sometimes the ride can still be a little bit uneven.
Note: Check the brake, horn & gasoline carefully before driving. Drive on the right hand side of the road. Driving slowly.
