Description:

Sapa is a must – visit destination for travelers when coming to Vietnam. Muong Hoa valley is must – visit route of trekkers while staying in Sapa. You will have opportunity to discover the traditional customs, costume and culture of Hmong, Giay ethnic groups in this option with our experienced local tour guide.

Itinerary:
Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai

20:00 - The Chapatravel staff will pick up you from your hotel in the Old Quarter streets and transfer to the Hanoi train station for boarding at 10:00 pm. You will be in shared AC soft sleeper cabins of 4 people to travel to Lao Cai city. The Chapa Express train staff will help you to check in the right cabin on the train.
22:00 - Train departs. Sleeping on the train.

Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B,L,D)

6:10 - Arriving in Lao Cai train station. You will be picked up by our staff and walked to Chapa Lounge Restaurant. You can store the luggages, take a shower and have breakfast here. Then you will be transferred to Sapa town for trekking.
9:30 - Reaching to Sapa and start the trek immediately. There are some different ways to trek from Sapa town to Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai and Ta Van village in Muong Hoa valley. We are happy to introduce you a less touristic route to visit these villages.
A car transfers you from Sapa town to the Jade Hills Resort where you start trekking to villages. The first kilomets, you will walk on a concrete road, stop on the way to take pictures of beautiful views of rice fields, mountains and valleys. Reach to Y Linh Ho bridge, you will walk across to visit a Black Hmong hamlet, come inside their house to learn more about their traditional culture from your tour guide.
The trek will continue on a small route to Lao Chai San village then you will stop for luch at a local family of Black Hmong people. You can try to cook some Vietnamese simple, delicous food on fire with them. Then enjoy your lunch with the family.
In the afternoon, your trek will continue toward to the center of Lao Chai village. A secondary school visit will be a nice experience on your trip. A visit the cathelic church in this village will be another high light experience in your trek today.
You will walk about 300m on a main road of village and then turn right to a small route up the hill to see the gorgeous view of rice field in Muong Hoa valley. Reach to Ta Van Hmong village after 3 kms of walking then check in homestay and relax.
Have dinner with the host and spend the night here.

Day 2: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Sapa (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you will continue the trek down hill on a buffalo route, through rice field and bamboo forest until reaching to the waterfall in Giang Ta Chai village. Here you will have lunch at a local restaurant at the root of waterfall. Winning a few difficult kms trek, you will have a good lunch ever.
Your trek will start again after lunch time. The first distance is 500m step up the hill then a buffalo trail will take you to the hamlets of Red Dao people. The tour guide will introduce you how differences between Red Dao and Hmong people in their custume, costume and traditional culture.
Say goodbye to Red Dao people, you will trek up the hill to the main road where a car is waiting to take you back to Sapa town.
17:00 - The car will transfer you from Sapa town to Chapa Lounge Restaurant where you can take a shower, reback your luggage, have dinner and wait for the train’s departure time.

Night 3: Lao Cai - Hanoi
21:00 - Get on train toward to Hanoi. The tour ends!
